Since earning his law degree from the Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia, Mr. Boyers has been fighting for justice. He served as an Assistant District Attorney in Queen County, New York and a Special Prosecutor in Brooklyn, New York. As a civil trial lawyer representing clients injured by negligence, he has been repeatedly listed as a Florida “Top 100 Super Lawyer,” one of the “Best Lawyers in America” in both Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice, a “Top Lawyer” as recognized by the South Florida Legal Guide and is a member of Florida’s “Legal Elite” as published in Florida Trend Magazine. He has also been named a National Trial Lawyer “Top 100 Trial Lawyer,” a Top 100 Attorney and received the lifetime achievement award of designation as one of “America’s Top 100 Attorneys.” He holds an AV – Preeminent Rating in the Martindale-Hubbell Legal Directory and a 10/10 Rating with AVVO.
Mr. Boyers is also a Past President of the Miami-Dade Trial Lawyers Association and is a former Director of both the Florida Justice Association and the Dade County Bar Association and a former Chair of Florida Bar Grievance Committee “D” for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in Miami-Dade County. He currently sits on the board of the American Jewish Committee (AJC).
