Spencer G. Morgan is the principal attorney at Spencer Morgan Law - Miami Injury Lawyer in Miami, Florida, where he represents injured individuals in personal injury and insurance claims litigation against insurance companies and corporations. At the firm, he concentrates on recovering compensation for clients harmed in a wide range of accidents and negligent incidents, advocating solely for claimants and pursuing results through negotiation and litigation.

Mr. Morgan’s legal foundation was built at the University of Miami School of Law, from which he graduated in 1996 and gained admission to The Florida Bar. He earned his undergraduate degree with honors from James Madison University and added international study to his resume with a semester on the dean’s list at the University of Salamanca in Spain. While in law school, he completed internships in the federal and immigration courts, working for Chief Federal Magistrate William C. Turnoff in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and for J. Daniel Dowell, then chief immigration judge at the Executive Office for Immigration Review.

Early in his career, the bulk of Mr. Morgan’s matters involved defending personal injury claims on behalf of insurance carriers and corporate clients. That period afforded him a practical understanding of how insurers assess liability, calculate reserves and craft defense strategies – insight he now uses to anticipate and counter opposing positions when representing injured parties.

After departing the large law firm Carlton Fields in 2001, Mr. Morgan redirected his practice exclusively to representing individuals pursuing injury claims against insurers and companies; he neither represents nor will represent insurance carriers or corporate defendants. He is admitted to practice across all Florida state courts and in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. His professional recognitions include an AV Preeminent* peer-review rating through Martindale-Hubbell, membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and a “Very Good” rating on Avvo.

Outside the office, Mr. Morgan places a high value on client relationships, seeking to address both legal and practical concerns so clients feel supported through difficult times. He remains committed to zealous representation and personal attention for every client he serves.

Representative Clients

  • $100,000 Slip and Fall Settlement   Mr. K was walking down the steps of the low-rise Miami Beach apartment building where he resided when he slipped and fell very hard on a landing injuring his neck and back resulting in pain management medical treatment to his spine. Maintenance  had left a cleaning product on the landing without any warning. Initially the Defendant argued Mr. K didn’t use the handrail and there was a minimal amount of cleaning product that shouldn’t have caused a reasonable person to fall. Through diligent continuing investigation we learned they had replaced the tile, and we learned the prior tile likely contributed to the fall as well. Rather than litigate the case the Defendant decided to pay full value for this injury. Mr. K’s injuries have essentially resolved, and he is thrilled that he was made whole.  , 2022
