Ms. Howell aims to create a lasting impact by using her advocacy skills to support the disadvantaged, drawing on her firsthand experience of overcoming challenges. She achieved this through her time spent representing low-income clients in criminal and civil cases as an assistant public defender for Miami-Dade County and as a staff attorney for Legal Services of Greater Miami. Several bar associations and community organizations count her as an active member and board member, demonstrating her dedication to using her profession as an attorney to help those in need.

Grow, Glow, Giveback Corporation, Ms. Howell’s own nonprofit, helps low-income people conquer any obstacle to education. In 2018, she also founded the TerryAnn S.
