A 1972 graduate of Northwestern University, Ms. Doppelt obtained her Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law in 1976. Licensed to practice in New York and Florida, she is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Florida and the Northern, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. In addition, she also practices before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th and Federal Circuits, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Throughout the course of her career, Ms. Doppelt has successfully handled hundreds of complex intellectual property disputes in state and federal courts as well as before administrative agencies. Widely regarded as a leader in her field, she routinely provides testimony at trial for other attorneys, and she serves on the adjunct legal faculty at Barry University Law School. She also has numerous publications to her credit, and she helped author a chapter on trademarks and other intellectual property rights in the Florida Franchise Law and Practice reference text.

Ms. Doppelt is the past president of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers and winner of the organization's Golden Star Award. She has served as treasurer and executive council member of the Orange County Bar Association, and she has served as commissioner of the Ninth Circuit Grievance Committee as well as commissioner and chair of the Ninth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission.

Furthermore, Ms. Doppelt is also a member of the American Bar Association's Intellectual Property Section, Entertainment Law Section and Franchise Law Forum, as well as the International Trademark Association and the Copyright Society of the United States, among her other professional affiliations.
