Bret C. Gainsford

Bret C. Gainsford is an attorney with Morgan & Morgan in Orlando, Florida, where he represents clients in personal injury claims and other cases involving issues such as product liability, wrongful death, insurance disputes and mass torts. He is the head attorney for the large law firm’s asbestos and mesothelioma litigation department.

Born and raised in South Florida, Mr. Gainsford graduated with honors from the University of Florida. After earning his law degree from Vanderbilt University in Tennessee, he returned to Florida, where he worked for a defense-oriented law firm, where his practice involved premises liability, e-discovery and other issues. In 2010, he began working with Morgan & Morgan and representing plaintiffs, including people harmed by asbestos products and people injured by defective products.

Mr. Gainsford is admitted to practice in Florida and Illinois, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Diddle and Northern districts of Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and the U.S. Supreme Court. He has served on the board of the Central Florida Gator Club and has volunteered with the Arnold Palmer Medical Center Foundation.
