Attorney Profile

I am a personal injury lawyer serving clients in the Orlando and Tampa Bay areas.  I am passionate about helping my clients navigate the personal injury process and obtain maximum compensation for their injuries, medical bills and lost wages.  My clients and their families always receive the personal one-on-one attention that every case deserves!

Choosing a driven, dedicated and experienced attorney is one of the most important decisions an injured person can make.  I have worked very hard at developing a reputation of excellence, and because of this several attorneys consistently refer their most difficult cases directly to me.  It is truly an honor and a privilege to level the playing field and help injured clients get back on their feet.

I began my career as a trial attorney defending insurance companies against personal injury lawsuits.  I handled cases involving wrongful death, traumatic brain injuries (TBI), negligent security, sexual assault, nursing home abuse, defective products, medical malpractice, and serious automobile accidents. I was mentored by Board Certified attorneys, beginning with the initial investigation all the way through trial.  These experiences provided me with tremendous insight into the strategies that are so critical to delivering an extraordinary result.

I graduated with honors from the University of Florida and accepted an academic scholarship to the University of Florida Levin College of Law.  I have been practicing in Orlando and Tampa Bay since 2011, and in that time I have been able to develop valuable relationships with doctors, testifying experts and others in the local legal communities.  I am currently a member of the Central Florida Trial Lawyers Association and other prominent organizations focused on protecting the rights of injured Floridians.

I love what I do, and I look forward to serving you!

Verdicts/Settlements:

  • $135,000 settlement, Trip and fall accident at Tampa apartment complex.   The Defendant denied that the incident ever occured, denied all negligence, denied that Plaintiff suffered injuries to her foot and shoulder, and denied that any claimed injuries were related to the alleged incident.  There was no video of the incident.  The only evidence of the dangerous condition was testimony form the plaintiff and her husband, and a photo copy of an undated cell phone photograph which the defense claimed had been fraudulently altered.  The case was turned down by two other law firms.  After 12 months of litigation, I obtained a $135,000 settlment the evening before trial.  , 2015
  • Confidential 7-figure settlement for Tampa client.  Tractor trailer verses motorcyle accident resulting in above the knee leg amputation.  The tractor turned left in front of our client but denied liability, claiming that our client was speeding and not using due care.  After more than two years of litigation and expert discovery, we obtained a confidential settlement, 2011
  • Confidential policy limits settlement, PLUS additional policy limits compensation for client's minor child.  My client was T-boned at an intersection in Orlando.  The defendant ultimately tendered policy limits.  Prior to accepting the tender, I sent a supplemental, time senstivie demand for policy limits on behalf of the client's minor child, who was NOT involved in the accident.  The carrier initially denied this demand.  However, two days before the demand expired, I advised the carrier of F.S. 768.0415, which provides a statutory right to recover for children of a permanently disabled parent.  The very next day, the carier hand delivered a check for policy limits for the uninjured child., 2016
  • $100,000.00 settlement for Orlando car accident case with serious spine and shoulder injuries.  My client was T-boned at a busy intersection on her way home from work.  Initially, the defendant disputed liability.  We investigated the facts of the crash, found experienced surgeons to provide the necessary medical treatment, and ultimately obtained a maximum policy limits settlement., 2015
  • $110,000.00 settlement for trip-and-fall.  My client was injured while visiting a large retail property in South Florida, tearing her meniscus and ACL.  Unfortunately, her recovery was very difficult, and she required several revisionary surgeries to her knee.  As a result of her ongoing medical issues, she lost her job as senior sales rep for a national cosmetics line.  The defendant denied liability for the trip-and-fall, and further denied responsibility for the revisionary surgeries, medical bills and lost wages.  We retained a liability expert to opine on code violations related to the dangerous condition.  We also used testimony from the treating physicians to explain the complicated details of the ongoing knee issues and failed surgeries.  Ultimately, we recovered a confidential settlement at mediation.  , 2016
  • $500,000.00 settlement for disputed liability truck crash.  My client was a homesless man who had fallen asleep in a parking lot.  He claims he was run over by a truck, suffering a crushed leg and ankle.  The driver of the truck denied that the crash EVER happened.  Ultimately, we litigated the case and obtained a surveillance video which confirmed our client's story.  The case settled prior to trial for $500,000.00.  After settlement, we provided our client with a an anuity to protect his money and help get back on his feet.  He is now employed as a mechanic and doing well.  Great case, great client, great result!!!, 2017
  • TRIAL VERDICT in Kissimmee Negligent Security case. I represented a Kissimmee hotel that was sued for negligent security after a woman was badly beaten by a fellow hotel guest who had been drinking underage.  The case was litigated for two years.  After a three day jury trial, the jury ruled in my favor and found no liability against the hotel.  The trial hinged on effective cross examination of the plaintiff, and persuasive direct examinations of a former hotel employee, and a national private security expert witness.  Following the trial, we successfully obtained a judgment of fees and costs, and ultimately collected on the judgment against the plaintiff., 2014
  • Marion County tractor trailer, multi-car collision.  We defended the trucking company against claims of catastrophic personal injury, including spinal injuries and claimed TBIs.  After over two years of litigation, we resolved the case with a favorable settlement. , 2014
  • $220,000.00 settlement for Lakeland couple injuried in rear end car accident.  My clients sustained injuries to their neck and shoulders when they were rear-ended on I-4 between Lakeland and Orlando.  In insurance companies initially denied compensation, claiming that the speed of the crash was too low to cause these injuries.  We fought the case and ultimately obtained $220,000.00 to compensate them for their injuries and lost wages., 2016
  • $300,000 settlement - Fractured Leg.  I served as co-counsel on a disputed coverage case involving a fractured leg for a minor child.  We were able to prove that coverage existed and swiftly recovered full policy limits., 2018
