Glen D. Wieland

Attorney Glen D. Wieland of the law firm Wieland & DeLattre, PA, in Orlando, Florida, handles personal injury and workers' compensation matters in cases involving car accidents, work related accidents and more. With more than 37 years of litigation experience, Mr. Wieland represents individuals who suffer injuries due to the negligence of others or who suffer work related injuries in Orlando and throughout Florida.

After graduating from Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina, Mr. Wieland earned his law degree from Samford University's Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama. He is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.He has been board-certified in workers' compensation law by The Florida Bar since 1990.

His contributions to the legal profession have earned Mr. Wieland a number of honors and recognition among his peers. He received the rating of AV Preeminent,* the highest possible rating, from the respected attorney peer-review service Martindale-Hubbell and has been featured in the publication "The Best Lawyers in America." Orlando magazine named him to its list of the city's best attorneys. He is also a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an organization comprised of attorneys who have recovered awards or settlements of $1 million or more on behalf of their clients. He is a Fellow in the College of Workers' Compensation Lawyers and is a member of the WCI Workers' Compensation Hall of Fame.  He is member of the Executive Council of the Workers' Compensation Section of the Florida Bar Association and is Past Chair of the Section. 

Mr. Wieland is a former trustee and past chairman of the Orlando Area Trust for the Homeless and has served as a presenter for the National Council of Insurance Legislators. He also maintains membership in the Florida Justice Association and the Florida Workers' Advocates.  He has been the Chancellor (attorney) for the Anglican Province of America and the Diocese of the Eastern United States for over 25 years volunteering his time to the church.
