Jeffrey S. Badgley is the founding member of the Badgley Law Group in Orlando, Florida. Having practiced law for around four decades, he advocates for clients in matters of legal malpractice, personal injury and bankruptcy, particularly Chapter 7 and 13. Serving clients throughout Central Florida, he takes pride in championing his clients through their legal processes and delivering favorable outcomes.
After completing his bachelor’s degree with high honors in philosophy, Mr. Badgley joined the University of Florida Levin College of Law in Gainesville to hone his legal acumen. At law school, he was an active member of the moot court trial team and was part of the Order of the Barristers for his high performance in mock trials. He earned his J.D. in 1986 and a license to practice law in Florida the same year. Additionally, he is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.
As an active person in the legal community, Mr. Badgley holds memberships in various associations, including the Orange County Bar Association and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He was previously a member of the Civil Procedure Rules Committee of The Florida Bar and the Ninth Circuit Grievance Committee. He also holds a membership in The Florida Bar’s Trial Lawyers Section.
In 2007, Mr. Badgley earned his board certification as a civil trial lawyer from The Florida Bar. His relentless commitment and tireless work ethic have gained him the adulation of his peers. As a testament to his professional shrewdness, he received an AV Preeminent* peer-review rating through Martindale-Hubbell. He was also recognized on the Best Personal Injury Lawyers List by the Orlando Style Magazine in 2014.
