Matthew Rosenthal

Matthew Rosenthal is a partner at Rosenthal Meyer, PLLC, in Orlando, Florida, where he concentrates his practice on corporate law, business transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. Since joining the firm, he has guided clients through complex organizational restructurings, employment law, restrictive covenants and other strategic deals, always with an eye toward aligning legal outcomes with their commercial objectives.

Before embarking on private practice, Mr. Rosenthal served as a legal intern for two distinguished federal judges – Senior Judge Harvey Schlesinger and Judge Roy Dalton Jr. – in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida in Jacksonville, Florida. In that capacity, he conducted in-depth research, attended hearings and trials, and prepared proposed orders and bench memoranda, honing his analytical skills and developing a nuanced understanding of federal litigation.

Following his clerkships, Mr. Rosenthal joined the nation’s leading veterans service organization as a transactional attorney. As a member of the in-house counsel team, he researched and drafted memoranda on issues ranging from contracts and licensing to insurance and employment policies. He negotiated and prepared master service agreements, sponsorship and partnership agreements, independent contractor contracts and licensing arrangements. His responsibilities also included overseeing trademark-infringement investigations, training legal interns and advising staff attorneys on compliance and risk-management matters.

Mr. Rosenthal then expanded his experience in private litigation, where he drafted pleadings, motions, briefs and discovery requests, appeared in court, negotiated settlements and participated in mediations. These roles sharpened his advocacy skills and deepened his understanding of both transactional and dispute-resolution processes.

A 2013 graduate of Florida Coastal School of Law, Mr. Rosenthal was admitted to The Florida Bar the same year. He is also admitted to New York. Additionally, he is an active member of the Orange County Bar Association, the East Orlando Chamber of Commerce and the Lake Nona Chamber of Commerce.
