Details
Suzanne Meehle, the founder and managing partner of Meehle PLLC in Orlando, Florida, is renowned for her proficiency in business law, intellectual property (IP) law, health care law, entertainment law and technology law. With nearly two decades of experience, she has become a pivotal figure in central Florida’s business landscape. Her deep knowledge of business, medical research, technology and IP law has made her a go-to counselor for trailblazing companies.
Since establishing Meehle PLLC, Ms. Meehle has concentrated on meeting the unique needs of small business owners. Her background includes a 12-year tenure in the software industry prior to her legal career, which has fueled her particular affinity for technology-oriented clients. Her client roster encompasses software and app developers, web developers, engineering firms, biometrics companies and IT service providers. Beyond technology, she also represents a diverse group, including artists, trade professionals, and other service providers like business consultants, health care professionals and peer legal firms.
After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from The University of Alabama in Huntsville in 1991, Ms. Meehle earned her J.D. from Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, in 2006. She was admitted to The Florida Bar that same year. Committed to giving back to her community, she devotes substantial pro bono time as a guardian ad litem for children in foster care through the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association.
Ms. Meehle’s commitment extends beyond her practice. She has held director positions on the boards of various central Florida nonprofits – the Better Business Bureau and Hope & Help. She is also an enthusiastic supporter of the central Florida arts scene, having been a long-time sponsor of the Orlando International Fringe Festival.
