Tad A. Yates has practiced law in the communities of central Florida since 1994. Today, Tad's practice is dedicated to the defense of persons accused of misdemeanors and felonies of every type, including drug offenses, DUI, sex crimes, battery, theft, domestic violence-related charges, juvenile offenses, fraud charges and all traffic crimes. Tad also represents clients in appeals of criminal convictions and in Rule 3.850 Post-Conviction proceedings.
Tad currently serves on the Florida Bar Board of Governors as a representative for the Ninth Judicial Circuit.  He is a past-President of the Orange County Bar Association and of the Legal Aid Society of the OCBA. Tad is a past Chair of the Ninth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission and past Chair of a Florida Bar Grievance Committee.  He previously served on the Board of Directors for the Florida Bar Foundation and the University of Florida Alumni Association.
