Alan H. Baseman

Partner at Comiter Singer Baseman & Braun, Alan H. Baseman represents the residents of Florida in cases of income and estate tax planning, limited liability companies and partnerships, probate, and mergers and acquisitions. He is board-certified by The Florida Bar’s Board of Legal Specialization and Education as a wills, trusts and estates lawyer, and for his commitment to legal ethics and professional accomplishments, he earned the highest peer rating possible of AV Preeminent* from Martindale-Hubbell.

Mr. Baseman is admitted to practice by the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and The Florida Bar. A former adjunct professor at Florida Atlantic University in tax research and corporate tax and Nova Southeastern University School of Business and entrepreneurship in taxation of estates and gifts and trusts, he has almost four decades of experience to draw from when finding creative solutions to the legal issues and questions his clients face.

After earning a Bachelor of Science from Drexel University in 1976, Mr. Baseman went on to New York Law School and in 1980 earned a Juris Doctor. Passionate about training and education, he also earned a LL.M. in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center in 1981.

Active in the community, Mr. Baseman is involved with the South Florida Art Center, the Miami Design Preservation League, Leadership Palm Beach County, the Plantation Athletic League, the Palm Beach County Business Development Board and the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County. He is also a member of the Palm Beach Tax Institute and the tax section of The Florida Bar.
