Details
Andrew A. Harris is a reputed attorney in the legal community and the founder of Harris Appeals, P.A., based in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. With over 18 years of legal experience, he is board-certified in appellate practice by The Florida Bar and is renowned for providing judicious appellate representation to a varied clientele across Palm Beach County and South Florida.
Andrew's impressive legal journey is marked by his handling of more than 400 appeals and providing crucial trial support in numerous cases across state and federal courts. His adeptness in drafting motions and preparing for trials, alongside his exceptional litigation support and post-verdict remedies, has led to many successes in advocating for his clients. These efforts have not only helped clients overturn adverse rulings but also receive the justice they deserve.
Graduating magna cum laude from Florida State University in 1999, Mr. Harris went on to earn his Juris Doctor with honors from The George Washington University Law School in 2002. During his time at law school, he served as a member and notes editor of the George Washington Law Review.
Following law school, Andrew clerked for the Honorable Judge Robert M. Gross at the Fourth District Court of Appeal in West Palm Beach, Florida for three years. Besides being admitted to The Florida Bar, Andrew is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and the Southern, Middle, and Northern District Courts of Florida. He has been peer-review rated AV Preeminent* through Martindale-Hubbell and has received a perfect “10.0” rating on Avvo.
Active in professional circles, Andrew is a member of the Florida Justice Association, Palm Beach County Justice Association, and the Palm Beach County Bar Association. He has held significant positions in the Florida Justice Association, such as appellate chair and currently serves as the Amicus Committee Vice Chair. Furthermore, he has served on the Board of Directors for the Palm Beach County Justice Association, including serving as the President in 2023.
Andrew is a frequent publisher and lecturer for the trial lawyer justice organizations. He is also widely known as the guru across the State of Florida on Proposals for Settlement and Demands for Judgment.
