Jeffrey A. Martz

Jeffrey A. Martz is an experienced trial advocate with the Smith, Ball, Baez & Prather Florida Injury Lawyers out of their branch in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. At the state attorney’s office, he rose to the position of chief of his county court division, where he supervised other prosecutors before transitioning to prosecute serious felonies. His legal acumen resulted in guilty verdicts for offenses ranging from simple battery to aggravated assault with a firearm.

Mr. Martz’s academic journey includes a bachelor’s degree in finance from Florida State University and a J.D. from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law, where he graduated cum laude. He earned the Pro Bono Certificate of Excellence for his dedicated volunteer work during his time at the University of Florida. He has also studied at the Palm Beach State College Basic Law Enforcement Academy.

During his college years, Mr. Martz has also interned for the Honorable Magistrate Judge Bruce E. Reinhart at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
