David Maass

David Maass is board-certified in admiralty and maritime law by The Florida Bar and is a shareholder at Alley, Maass, Rogers & Lindsay, P.A., located in Palm Beach, Florida. Focusing on yacht transactions and operations, his extensive experience in the yachting industry makes him a go-to for high net worth individuals and family offices looking to navigate the complex world of yacht ownership. His clientele is brimming with Americans and some Latin clients.

Mr. Maass diligently serves as a representative for clients engaged in acquiring, divesting and leasing luxurious yachts. Additionally, he extends his adept counsel in pertinent areas such as registration, financing, insurance, taxation and crew affairs. He also boasts an impressive background in all aspects of yacht management, including new construction, brokerage dealings and charter operations, furnishing clients with unparalleled knowledge and paramount service.

Having completed his undergraduate studies in philosophy at Princeton University in 2009, Mr. Maass went on to achieve a J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2013. During his time there, he was also an executive editor for the Florida Law Review. Following this, he obtained his LL.M. in admiralty from Tulane University Law School in 2014.
