Aaron Watson

Attorney Aaron Watson, of The Watson Firm, PLLC, in Pensacola, Florida, devotes his practice to personal injury law. Mr. Watson represents individuals throughout the Pensacola metropolitan area who have been injured due to the negligence of another party. He takes on cases including, but not limited to, the following:

• Slip-and-fall accidents
• Medical malpractice
• Motor vehicle accidents
• Wrongful death
• Nursing home abuse
• Truck accidents
• Workers’ compensation

Mr. Watson graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree and later earned his law degree from Stetson University College of Law. In addition to his experience as an intern at the U.S. Department of Justice and a volunteer with the Florida Attorney General's office, he has presided over the Black Law Students Association. His outstanding performance as a trial advocate led to his selection by the faculty of Stetson College of Law for the Stallworth Trial Team Award.

As a result of his distinguished career as an advocate in the legal system, Mr. Watson was admitted into the National Order of Barristers. He is a current member of the Board of Governors at his law school. Along with being admitted to practice in all Florida state courts, he is also licensed to appear before the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Florida. He has been admitted to practice law since 2008.

Mr. Watson has achieved many substantial verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients throughout his legal career. His accomplishments have earned him membership in several merit organizations, including the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the Top 40 Under 40 list of The National Trial Lawyers and the Top 100 section of The National Black Lawyers. One of cases was also mentioned in the National Law Journal. He has also received an AV Preeminent* peer-review rating through Martindale-Hubbell.

Outside of his law practice, Mr. Watson has taught classes for Pensacola State College and the American Association for Justice. He serves on the board of governors for the American Association for Justice and the Florida Justice Association. He is also active in a variety of community projects and organizations. Other legal groups he is a member of include the Escambia-Santa Rosa Bar Association, The Florida Bar, the Florida Justice Association and the American Bar Association.
