Ann E. Meador

A partner of The Family Law Team, PLLC in Pensacola, Florida, Ann E. Meador draws on more than 24 years of legal experience in assisting clients throughout Escambia County with a broad spectrum of family law matters. In addition to facilitating creative, lasting resolutions that seek to minimize conflict in contested cases involving difficult issues like child custody, significant assets, spousal and child support, visitation and modifications to existing divorce orders, Ms. Meador compassionately helps clients navigate the complexities of military divorce, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.

After earning her B.S. in political science from Florida State University in 1997, Ms. Meador pursued her J.D. at Samford University Cumberland School of Law.  She obtained her J.D. and gained admittance to practice in Florida in 2000. Since then, she has distinguished herself as a versatile and knowledgeable family law practitioner, honored in 2014 with both an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and inclusion on Fortune Magazine's annual list of Women Leaders in the Law.

Ms. Meador strives to remain abreast of changes to Florida's laws governing family law issues like spousal support, paternity and parental responsibility through her active involvement in several professional organizations, including the Escambia-Santa Rosa Bar Association and The Florida Bar, which appointed her to its Advertising Task Force in 2004. Ms. Meador is also a fellow of the invitation-only, peer-selected Litigation Counsel of America. Outside her practice, she is a well-regarded speaker at local CLE seminars conducted by the National Business Institute.
