Jay Chimpoulis is the founder and managing partner of Chimpoulis & Hunter, P.A. He has been representing physicians and health care professionals for over 30 years and has earned Martindale-Hubbell's prestigious AV rating. Jay attended DePauw University in Indiana, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications in 1979 while working as a paramedic. He received his Juris Doctorate from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago and is admitted to practice law in both Florida and Illinois. He is a member of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association and Defense Research Institute and a former officer of the Florida Medical Malpractice Claims Counsel and various local and state bar associations.
