A co-founder of Marro Law, P.A., Meaghan Kessler Marro focuses her practice exclusively on family law matters. From the firm’s offices in Plantation, Florida, she provides dedicated representation to clients throughout Broward County. Admitted to practice in Florida since 2008, Ms. Marro is also admitted to practice in New York as well as before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.

Ms. Marro spends much of her time helping people who are seeing their marriages come to an end and who are thus having to deal with such divorce-related issues as the division of complex marital assets and financial obligations, child custody and visitation, and spousal and child support. Many of her clients are professional athletes, business owners and executives, and other high-profile people. A forceful courtroom advocate on their behalf when litigation is necessary, she is often able to help them come to an accord on some or all of these matters through the state’s divorce mediation program or by taking the lead in negotiating a comprehensive settlement agreement.

Ms. Marro also helps those of her clients whose marriages have already been legally dissolved and who are now seeking the enforcement of or modifications to existing parenting or support court orders. Her other family law experience has encompassed the preparation and review of prenuptial and post-marital agreements.

As an undergraduate, Ms. Marro attended Florida State University, where she majored in psychology and received a Bachelor of Science in 2003. After obtaining a Master of Science in behavioral analysis from Western Michigan University, she went on to pursue her legal education at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, and she was awarded her Juris Doctor in 2008.
