Todd L. Baker is the CEO and managing shareholder of Baker & DiSalvo, P.A., based in Plantation, Florida, where he represents individuals and families in a broad range of personal injury matters. His practice focuses on helping clients who have suffered injuries due to negligence, handling cases involving car, motorcycle, truck, bicycle, bus and boat accidents, as well as catastrophic injuries, nursing home abuse, premises liability, product liability, slip-and-fall incidents, spine injuries and wrongful death claims.
Throughout his legal career, Mr. Baker has been committed to advocating for injured clients and pursuing compensation for medical expenses, lost income, pain and suffering, and other damages resulting from serious accidents. He has secured multiple jury verdicts exceeding $1 million, including Florida's third-highest premises liability verdict in 2019. His experience litigating complex personal injury cases has earned him recognition for his strategic approach and dedication to achieving favorable outcomes for those he represents.
Mr. Baker received his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and political science from the University of Michigan. Later, he earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law, where he laid the foundation for his legal career. in 2010. The following year, he was admitted to practice law in the state of Florida.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Baker maintains an active presence within the legal and civic communities. He is the immediate past president of The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division and currently serves as president of the Broward County Trial Lawyers Association. He also previously served as chair of the Young Leaders Division for the Jewish Federation of Broward County and as president of the Broward County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section.
