Attorney Profile

As the owner of Benjamin-Wise Creary, P.L.L.C., Sheena Benjamin-Wise is only too aware of the special challenges that people face when a dispute arises in their family. She also understands the complexities associated with family law issues, such as child support, modifications, divorce, child custody and domestic violence. Putting more than a decade of practice to use, she serves clients in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties, Florida.

Active within the legal community, Ms. Benjamin-Wise is a member of The Florida Bar's Family Law Section, the Palm Beach County Bar Association and the TJ Reddick Bar Association. She is the author of several articles, and has lectured extensively on topics such as inclusion training for children.

When she is not serving clients, Ms. Benjamin-Wise offers pro bono services through Broward Lawyers Care. In fact, the Florida Supreme Court has twice presented her with an award for her commitment to providing people with legal aid services.

In 1994, Ms. Benjamin-Wise received a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Miami. She later earned a Juris Doctor from the Shepard Broad College of Law at Nova Southeastern University in 2001.

Today, Ms. Benjamin-Wise is admitted to practice in Florida and before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. While she thoroughly prepares for each case as though it could end up in trial, she also recognizes that many families are eager to resolve matters in a timelier fashion. Ms. Benjamin-Wise is adept at handling issues outside the courtroom, negotiating agreements and finding a middle ground from which clients and their families can begin to move forward.
