Experienced attorney W. Cort Frohlich has been practicing law in Charlotte County since 1976. From the law firm of Frohlich, Gordon & Beason, P.A., he proudly serves individuals and business owners in Charlotte County and throughout southwest Florida, representing their interests in cases ranging from personal injury and wrongful death to business litigation.

Cort graduated from Wake Forest University in 1973 and received his law degree with honors from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 1976.

Over the past 40 years, Mr. Frohlich has built a reputation as a dedicated client advocate and skilled trial lawyer. As a result of his many successes, he has earned a number of honors and awards, including a "Very Good" rating from Avvo and an AV Preeminent* peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Additionally, the National Board of Trial Advocacy recognizes him as a board-certified civil trial advocate, and The Florida Bar's Board of Legal Specialization and Education recognizes him as a board-certified civil trial lawyer.

Cort previously served as the president of the Charlotte County Bar Association and is a member of the American Bar Association qualified to practice before the United States Supreme Court. In addition to his legal activities, he is currently president of the board of Charlotte Behavioral Health Care. He has served as president of the Big Brothers Big Sisters and was a longtime chairman of the board for the Edison State College Foundation, now Florida Southwest State College. He has served as emcee for many Charlotte County fundraisers, including the American Cancer Society, The Boys and Girls Club, Charlotte Behavioral Health Care, Big Brothers Big Sisters and CARE, helping to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for these organizations.

Cort has been recognized as a Florida Super Lawyer in the field of personal injury since 2005, the only lawyer in Charlotte County so recognized.
