Kevin Pillion

Kevin Pillion, the founder of Life Planning Law Firm, P.A., has two office locations:  one in downtown Sarasota and the other in North Port, Florida. He is a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA®) designated by the National Elder Law Foundation and accredited by the American Bar Association. His legal services support those navigating elder law, Medicaid planning, Probate, Trust, and Estate Administration. His heartfelt approach stems from his personal journey of caring for his elderly parents, which instilled in him a profound empathy for families facing similar challenges.

Mr. Pillion received his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and has been navigating the legal landscape since 1990. He holds the privilege of practicing law in both Florida and Washington, D.C. Additionally, as a certified public accountant, he contributed his skills to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C., after completing his legal studies. 

A respected presence in the legal realm, Mr. Pillion is affiliated with a myriad of professional organizations, including The Florida Bar,  the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the National Elder Law Foundation, the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys, the Life Care Planning Law Firms Association and the Elder Law Section of The Florida Bar. His dedication is further validated by his U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs accreditation.
