Christene M. Ertl

Providing tenacious representation in matters of real estate, Christene M. Ertl is a dedicated attorney, serving clients around Northeast Florida. As a shareholder with the law firm Fisher, Tousey, Leas & Ball, P.A., Ms. Ertl works out of the firm’s office in Saint Augustine, Florida, where she assists businesses and individuals with navigating issues of real property, community association, corporate, and intellectual property law. Graduating from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies pre-law with honors, Ms. Ertl pursued her law degree at the University of Miami School of Law. While at law school, she was active and served in the leadership of the Student Bar Association, Miami Law Women, and the Entertainment and Sports Law Society. After earning her Juris Doctor with honors, she was admitted to practice law in Florida in 2000. From the very beginning of her career, Ms. Ertl has focused on corporate and real property law, gaining around 25 years of experience in these fields.

In 2018, Ms. Ertl became Florida Bar board-certified in condominium and planned development law, which exemplifies her substantial experience, advanced knowledge and unwavering professionalism in this specific area of law. Ms. Ertl leads her law firm’s team of dedicated professionals that assist businesses, community associations, developers and individuals. Ms. Ertl has extensive experience guiding clients through complex real property, business, and intellectual property issues, including dispute resolution, drafting and reviewing contracts, community association and development-related governing documents, easements, title issues, regulatory, zoning, stormwater management issues, trademark and copyright.

Throughout her career, Ms. Ertl has been an active member of the legal community. She is actively involved with the Florida Bar Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section (RPPTL) and also serves as vice chair of the Condominium and Planned Development Committee within the RPPTL.
