Christene M. Ertl

Providing tenacious representation in matters of real estate, Christene M. Ertl is a dedicated attorney, serving clients around Jacksonville, Florida. Working from Fisher, Tousey, Leas & Ball, P.A., in Saint Augustine, Florida, she aims to assist businesses in navigating through issues of real estate, corporate law, intellectual property and zoning issues. Her detail-oriented and client-centric approach allows her to prioritize her client’s goal and strive toward it. 

Graduating from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies, Ms. Ertl pursued her law degree at the University of Miami School of Law. While at law school, she was active in the Student Bar Association, the Miami Law Women, and the Entertainment and Sports Law Society. After earning her Juris Doctor in 1998, she was admitted to practice law in Florida in 2000. From the very beginning of her career, she has been focusing solely on real estate law, gaining around 25 years of experience in the field. 

Currently, Ms. Ertl is a Florida Bar board-certified condominium and planned development lawyer. Her knowledge and understanding of Florida's complex statutes governing condos and HOAs are beneficial to her clients. She assists clients in dispute resolution, preparing and reviewing legal documents, stormwater management and compliance matters, and licensure for business owners. 

Throughout her career, Ms. Ertl has been an active member of the legal community. She is actively involved with the Florida Bar Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section (RPPTL) and also serves as vice chair of the Condominium and Planned Development Committee within the RPPTL. Her ethical standards and professionalism have earned her an AV Preeminent* peer-review rating through Martindale-Hubbell. She also holds a “Very Good” rating on Avvo, showcasing her high standards of client service.
