Travis Mydock, a renowned attorney at Mydock Law PLLC in St. Augustine, Florida, holds certification from The Florida Bar as a specialist in criminal trial law. After obtaining his B.S. cum laude in finance and entrepreneurship from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business in 2006, Mr. Mydock earned his J.D. from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law in 2009. In the following year, he attained his license to practice law in the state of Florida. Furthermore, he holds admission to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida.
Mr. Mydock presently holds the position of chairman within the 7th Judicial Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission (JNC) for the state of Florida. He has been twice nominated by The Florida Bar and appointed on two occasions by Governor Ron DeSantis to fulfill this pivotal role. In his capacity as a JNC7 Commissioner, he is entrusted with the vital responsibilities of meticulously scrutinizing, conducting interviews and nominating candidates for judicial vacancies within St. Johns, Volusia, Flagler and Putnam counties.
As a former president of the St. Johns County Bar Association, the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the St. Johns Chapter and the Gator Club of St. Augustine, Mr. Mydock has been a past governor of The Florida Bar, Young Lawyers Division, and served as the past chairman of The Florida Bar, Bar Grievance Committee 7B. In addition, he is an active member of the National College for DUI Defense and the DUI Defense Lawyers Association.
Mr. Mydock's legal proficiency is exemplary and has drawn massive commendation.
