- Complete defense verdict on a residential sinkhole claim in Hernando County. Plaintiff claimed his home was damaged by sinkhole activity. Jury returned a verdict that the insured did not carry his burden of showing that the loss occurred during the policy period and found in favor of the insurance company. , 2013
