Licensed to practice in Florida since 1974, attorney Aubrey O. Dicus Jr. serves his clients from the St. Petersburg office of Battaglia, Ross, Dicus & McQuaid, PA, in Florida. His extensive practice in the areas of personal injury and civil litigation – complex commercial contract litigation, probate and estate law, criminal defense and class action matters for both plaintiffs and defendants. He has also represented government agencies and municipalities in government litigation matters. 

Prior to obtaining his Juris Doctor from the Stetson University College of Law in 1974, Mr. Dicus completed his bachelor’s degree in economics in 1971 from Emory University. He has admissions to the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd and the District of Columbia Circuits and the U.S. Supreme Court. 
 
Over the years of his dedicated service, Mr. Dicus has been selected and served as a master of bench with the Barney Masterson Inn of Court, among others. A past president of the St. Petersburg Bar Association and the Pinellas County Criminal Defense Lawyers’ Association, he is a founding member of the board of directors of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. In addition, he was a recipient of the Professionalism Award by the St. Pete Bar Association and the Stetson President’s Award.
