John has served in many leadership positions.  He is a Past-President of the St. Petersburg Bar Association and is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the St. Petersburg Free Clinic. Mr. Tucker was also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Mid-Florida Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society for many years.

Most recently, Mr. Tucker has served as the Chair of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) Social Security Disability Law Section.  At its national conference in July 2013 in San Francisco, Mr. Tucker was elected chair of the AAJ ERISA, Disability and Life Insurance Litigation Group.
