Michael Labbee

Michael Labbee is an attorney at the law firm Phillips, Hayden & Labbee, LLP, located in St. Petersburg, Florida. Serving clients throughout the Tampa Bay area, he focuses his practice on personal injury and business litigation matters. He has more than eight years of experience and provides sound and knowledgeable counsel to his clients. 

Mr. Labbee has immense experience working on cases involving personal injury, real estate disputes and contract breaches. With a genuine concern for injured parties, he prefers advocating for those who need it the most. He understands how his clients must feel after being injured through no fault of their own, and he tirelessly fights for their rights. He also uses the most recent technology to create the best-suited solutions for each client’s unique business needs. 

With a bachelor’s degree in legal studies, Mr. Labbee graduated from the University of Central Florida. He went on to study law at the Stetson University College of Law and obtained his Juris Doctor cum laude. In law school, he served as the notes and comments editor of the Stetson Law Review and vice president of the International Law Society. He was a part of the Stetson University Honors Program and the Student Bar Association. 

Additionally, Mr. Labbee was a research assistant for two professors and served as an intern for a renowned judge at the 6th Judicial Circuit Court. He was the recipient of the Victor O. Wehle Award for receiving the highest grade in trial advocacy. 

Active in his community, Mr. Labbee has memberships in the Snell Isle Property Owners Association and the Tampa Connection’s alumni board. He is also a founding member of the Great Futures Professional Council for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay.
