A staunch professional and principal at the law firm of Greene & Greene, attorney Raleigh W. Greene IV is adept at handling almost all legal issues faced by Florida families. He serves clients in St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Tampa and surrounding West Florida areas.
Primarily focusing on family legal matters for more than a decade, Mr. Greene takes on a variety of cases such as contested and collaborative divorce, child custody and support, alimony, equitable property division, paternity, marital agreements and same-sex family law. He is also well-versed in matters involving wills, trusts, estate and trust litigation, probate and fiduciary litigation, guardianships, probate and estate administration, and more.
Hailing from a family of lawyers, Mr. Greene grew up watching his father – currently, his legal partner – Raleigh “Lee” Greene selflessly advocating for families through their highly volatile and emotional times. Generations of families have benefited from their collective wisdom, familiarity with complex family law and zealous courtroom advocacy.
A native of Florida, Mr. Greene earned his B.A. from the University of Florida in 2007. He completed his legal education at the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2011. During that time, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Jack Day. He was authorized to practice law in the state courts of Florida in 2011 and later before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Mr. Greene’s successful track record in and out of the courtroom has resulted in a number of awards and recognitions for him. He has been rated AV Preeminent* through Martindale-Hubbell consistently since 2015. Additionally, he was named to the Best of Tampa Bay 2017 list by Tampa Bay Times and bestowed with the "Young Lawyer of the Year" Award by the Canakaris American Inn of Court.
Mr. Greene serves many professional organizations. He is the chair of the St. Petersburg Bar Association’s Small Law Firm Section and the founding chair of its Collaborative Law Section. Furthermore, he is an active part of The Florida Bar – Sixth Circuit Grievance Committee.
Additionally, Mr. Greene holds active memberships in the American Bar Association, the Next Generation Divorce, the Canakaris American Inn of Court, the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals and The Florida Bar Foundation.
When not lawyering, Mr. Greene spends his time helping those in need. He was a part of the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Development Council and a committee member of the Adverse Childhood Experiences Conference. Since 2018, he has been a board member of the YMCA of St. Petersburg. He was offered the Distinguished Citizen Award by the Boy Scouts of America for providing outstanding civic services.
