Attorney Profile

Attorney Robert E. Biasotti is the founder and managing shareholder of Biasotti Law, a boutique law firm in St. Petersburg, Florida, that offers unmatched legal counsel and mediation services to those facing serious and complex legal challenges involving a wide range of civil disputes.

Certified for circuit court and appellate mediations by the Florida Supreme Court and certified in appellate practice by the Florida Bar, Mr. Biasotti offers exceptional representation to both plaintiffs and defendants alike in all areas of civil appeals and civil mediation. He also assists and supports other attorneys as they prepare for trial in order to help them build the strongest cases possible, thereby reducing the chances that errors or invalid arguments will create a situation where an appeal will later be necessary.

A 1993 graduate of Long Island University Brentwood, Mr. Biasotti obtained his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law in 1996, and he has since received the school's Outstanding Alumni Award. He also is AV Preeminent peer-review rated* through Martindale-Hubbell and has received other awards and accolades for his professionalism and service.

Mr. Biasotti has argued before all of Florida's appellate courts as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and the Florida Supreme Court, and he served on the Florida Bar Appellate Rules Committee for more than six years. In addition, he also served on the legal faculty at Stetson University College of Law, where he taught appellate practice.

Regarded as one of the top appellate attorneys in the country, Mr. Biasotti currently represents Florida as a member of the American Bar Association Judicial Division Council of Appellate Lawyers, and in 2014, Florida's governor, Rick Scott, appointed Mr. Biasotti to the Second DCA Judicial Nominating Commission.
