Scott Boggs

At Boggs Law Group, P.A., in St. Petersburg, Florida, Scott Boggs spends a vehement amount of time and resources defending clients in complex insurance matters such as unfair insurance practices, insurance recovery, bad faith insurance, property damage and loss, construction defects, hurricane and storm damage, fire damage, and roof and sinkhole claims, among many others. Along with helping his clients with their urgent matters, he also serves his local community passionately, having served as senior pastor at the Northside Baptist Church for over a decade. He is a member of The Florida Bar.

Prior to receiving his Juris Doctor in 2017 from the Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Mr. Boggs completed his undergraduate studies in religion at Cedarville College in 1986. In line with his deep-rooted connection to his religion, he obtained his Master of Divinity degree in 1990 from the Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He later attended the Trinity Evangelical Divinity Seminary and earned his Doctor of Ministry degree in 2004.

Mr. Boggs is well aware of the many complicated bureaucratic hurdles insurance companies place in order to protect their bottom line, not just from a legal standpoint, but from a personal viewpoint. Having founded a business in the photography industry over 15 years ago, he understands his clients’ frustration when these corporations make it difficult to hand out compensation for a valid claim. His strong work ethic and focused approach gives his clients comfort, knowing that no matter the difficulty of the case, he will always show up for them and provide top-quality representation.
