Vanessa L. King

Ms. King is an experienced trial lawyer.  She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida in 2005 and her law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2011. She served more than three years as an Assistant State Attorney where she specialized in the prosecution of career criminals.

During her time as both a prosecutor and a criminal defense lawyer, she has tried various charges including vehicular homicide, attempted murder, armed robbery, and carjacking. Since leaving the State Attorney’s Office in 2014, Ms. King has practiced in the areas of criminal defense (state and federal), civil litigation, nursing home defense, administrative/licensure law, auto negligence, and personal injury.

She is the founder of The Law Firm of Vanessa L. King, PLLC.  Her firm represents clients in criminal, civil, and healthcare/administrative matters.  Ms. King handles each case with passion and commitment, in an effort to achieve the best possible results for her clients.  She is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell® (2018).
