William Battle McQueen

Attorney William B. McQueen is a founding partner of Legacy Protection Lawyers in St. Petersburg, Florida. A certified public accountant and board certified in wills, trusts and estates by The Florida Bar's Board of Legal Specialization, Mr. McQueen has more than 33 years of experience. A 1983 graduate of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, with a Bachelor of Science in business administration, Mr. McQueen worked as a CPA at a prominent accounting firm while attending the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctor with high honors in 1987. 

Mr. McQueen also received his associate degree in funeral services from St. Petersburg College in 1994 and helped his siblings run their family-owned funeral home for 16 years. He received his Master of Law in Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law in 2013.

He is a member of The Florida Bar's Real Property, Probate and Trust Section and the American Bar Association's Estate Planning Section, a past president of the St. Petersburg Bar Association, and past president of the Suncoast Estate Planning Council. He is also a member of WealthCounsel, among his other professional affiliations.  Mr. McQueen is a Board Certified Specialist in Wills, Trusts & Estates by the Florida Bar.
