Stephen A. Ecenia is a shareholder and principal founder of Rutledge Ecenia, P.A., in Tallahassee, Florida, and serves the residents of the surrounding region in their complex and pressing health law and administrative law matters so they can move on free from their legal burdens. He is committed to providing zealous advocacy to give his clients every opportunity to pursue better opportunities in their future.
Academically prudent, Mr. Ecenia completed his undergraduate studies in 1977, graduating with his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida. He then attended the Florida State University College of Law and took an active part in the Moot Court Team. He received his Juris Doctor in 1980, and a year later, he obtained his license to practice law in Florida. In addition, he is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida.
A consummate professional through and through, Mr. Ecenia is a stalwart companion in achieving his clients’ goals expeditiously and with relative ease, no matter the number of challenges to wade through. Mr. Ecenia has deft experience in representing hospitals and health care corporations, and he has represented many of his clients in the District Court of Appeals and the Florida Supreme Court, as well as many circuit courts. Within his community, he has held many leadership positions, such as past president of the Capital Culture Commission and on the Executive Committee of the Board of the Mary Brogan Museum of Art and Science.
