Mr. Berger’s journey in law began after relocating from Pennsylvania to Florida post-high school. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida, followed by a Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law. He honed his legal prowess, serving as an assistant public defender for the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, where he gained extensive trial experience across a spectrum of cases, from misdemeanors to felonies.

Transitioning from criminal defense to civil litigation, Mr. Berger initially defended insurance companies and their clients against claims involving automobile negligence, premises liability, negligent security and wrongful death. His career trajectory took a pivotal turn when he joined a prestigious personal injury law firm in Tampa, eventually becoming a partner. His dedication to justice and client advocacy flourished here, setting the stage for the founding of his own firm, Berger Fernandez, PLLC, alongside a fellow co-founder.
