Chris A. Barker, a partner in the Florida law firm of Barker & Cook, P.A., has more than two decades of litigation experience in state and federal courtrooms. He has also argued before appellate courts at the state and federal level. Mr. Barker’s primary areas of focus include commercial and business litigation, employment law, real estate law, securities arbitration and litigation, medical malpractice, premises liability, personal injury and products liability on an individual or class action basis.

With a bachelor’s degree from Birmingham-Southern College and a Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama, Chris A. Barker has subsequently earned admission to practice law before all of the U.S. District Courts of Alabama and Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Barker has garnered the top professional rating of AV-Preeminent* from Martindale-Hubbell. From 2008 to 2012, he served as a member of the state governor's Judicial Nominating Commission for the 13th Judicial Circuit.
