Elena Ketchum, partner with the firm, represents debtors, creditors, and buyers in corporate and individual bankruptcy proceedings. Her practice has included successfully reorganizing companies involved in industries as diverse as trucking, manufacturing, construction, retail, restaurant, healthcare, printing, and grocery. Her practice also includes out-of-court workouts and documenting complicated commercial transactions, including loan modifications and asset sales. Ms. Ketchum also handles matters under Chapter 727 of the Florida Statutes dealing with Assignments for the Benefit of Creditors and has served as lead counsel in a number of cases. Ms. Ketchum currently serves on the Local Rules Lawyers Advisory Committee for the Middle District of Florida, served as President-Elect of the Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar Association, served as Chair of the District-Wide Steering Committee for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida, has spoken on bankruptcy topics, and has served as a guest instructor in advanced bankruptcy classes at the University of Florida College of Law and Stetson University College of Law.
