Grace M. Samarkos

At the law office of Harris, Hunt & Derr, P.A., in Tampa, Florida, Grace M. Samarkos serves her clients with an efficacious attitude and always sees to it that their queries and doubts are answered with the utmost clarity. As a family law attorney, she understands the emotional pain that can bear heavy in one’s mind and always prioritizes her clients’ well-being and cases over most anything.

Ms. Samarkos graduated in 2016 with her bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of South Florida, and later attended the Stetson University College of Law and received her Juris Doctor in 2019. During her time in law school, she honed her trial skills as part of the university’s Mock Trial Team, with her team awarded first place at The Florida Bar Trial Lawyers Section’s Chester Bedell Memorial Mock Trial Team Competition and was named Best Overall Advocate as well.

Always one to take every opportunity to learn, Ms. Samarkos interned at the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit for Pinellas County for Honorable Judge Jack Helinger in her second of year law school, where she gained invaluable experience observing how the judicial system operates and participating as well. This knowledge has helped her immensely when assisting clients with contentious family law such as divorce and child support.

Licensed to practice in Florida since 2019, Ms. Samarkos has made great advances within her legal community. She is a member of The Florida Bar, the Canakaris Inn of Court and is on the board of directors of The Arc Tampa Bay – an organization devoted to helping individuals with development and intellectual disabilities gain meaningful employment in Florida.
