Henry E. Valenzuela

As the managing partner of Valenzuela Law Firm, P.A., in Tampa, Florida, attorney Henry E. Valenzuela devotes his time and resources to helping individuals and families recover the compensation they need after suffering an injury or loss caused by another party's negligence or wrongdoing.

Serving clients throughout Florida and the rest of the United States, Mr. Valenzuela focuses his practice primarily on medical malpractice, brain injury and catastrophic injury claims, but he also represents plaintiff clients with all types of civil litigation, including premises liability and products liability claims, commercial litigation, and more.

Certified by The Florida Bar as a civil trial specialist and having over 30 years of legal experience, Mr. Valenzuela possesses the skills necessary to handle even the most complex and challenging cases. Throughout his career, he has secured substantial, multimillion-dollar verdicts and settlements for his clients, including a $17 million jury award for a family who lost a daughter in a car crash.

A 1982 cum laude graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Mr. Valenzuela attended Duke University School of Law, obtaining his Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 1985. That same year, The Florida Bar admitted him to practice, and he is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Dedicated to his practice, Mr. Valenzuela remains active in several professional legal associations, including the American Bar Association, the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, the American Association for Justice and the Hillsborough County Bar Association, among others. Well-versed in his practice area, he has published a number of articles on a variety of topics related to personal injury law and civil litigation.
