He then enrolled at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he was a teaching assistant on The Florida Moot Court Team before being awarded his Juris Doctor cum laude in 2006.

After graduation, Mr. Crist served a clerkship with a judge on the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida before joining an international law firm, where he provided defense representation in commercial litigation cases. He then switched his practice to representing plaintiffs in personal injury matters. Mr. Crist is admitted to practice in Florida, and he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.
