Niurka F. Asmer

Niurka F. Asmer is a sole practitioner with Niurka F. Asmer, P.A. located in located in Tampa, Florida. Licensed to practice law since 2000, she handles cases involving community association law, including condominium associations, homeowners associations, cooperatives, timeshares, vacation rentals, and condo hotels.  She has 25 years experience representing community associations in the State of Florida by creating and establishing associations during the developer stage, developer transition, association representation, amending governing documents, contract creation, review, and analysis, covenant enforcement, collections, foreclosures and creditor representation in bankruptcy court.  

For more than two decades, community association board members and managers have consulted Ms. Asmer for legal counsel on a range of topics affecting their communities. Ms. Asmer is a frequent lecturer approved by the State of Florida Department of Professional Regulations to Board members for certification courses, and other topics in community association law.  

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida, Ms. Asmer went on to pursue her master’s degree in business administration at Nova Southeastern University. At the same time, she also attended the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law to study law and obtained her MBA and Juris Doctor in May 2000. 

Ms. Asmer is admitted to practice in Florida and before the United States District Court for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. She has a long list of associations she is actively involved with, including:
