  • Our client, who we will call Maria for privacy's sake, was driving down the road in the inside lane. A nearby driver lost control of his vehicle and crossed over two lanes of traffic, striking the front end of Maria's car. The violent impact caused over $14,000 worth of damage to Maria's car. It was this impact that would change the next five years of her life. Maria, who was 29 weeks pregnant, was taken by ambulance to a local hospital. She had cuts on her face and head, and MRI's showed hip and pelvis fractures. Due to her injuries, she was transferred to the High Risk OB Floor. She was placed on bed rest due to the severity of her injures, and the risk of complications. Although Maria was a healthy 20-year-old girl, she underwent a cesarean section because of the multiple pelvic fractures. Over time, Maria's condition did not improve, despite her treatments and she suffered through years of back and hip pain. Five years later, she still has pain and gets nervous driving past large trucks on the road. We fought hard to ensure that Maria got the restitution she deserved. Unfortunately, in a case like this, we can never make her whole again. We can never give her back the youth she lost fighting through pain caused by another driver. But we can get her the restitution she needed to pay for medical bills, lost wages, and pain and suffering. Through a jury trial, we secured a verdict of over $2.5 million in restitution for our client., 2013
  • Driving in town, our client was carelessly rear ended by a company work truck causing massive damage to both vehicles. Our client had to undergo back and neck surgeries due to the negligence of the company truck driver. During the case, our client was also diagnosed with a severe head injury, and had brain surgery, which changed his life for the better. Prior to trial, the case resolved for over $1,000,000.00, 2014
  • In April 2006, a joyous occasion turned tragic at the hands of a drunk driver. A family wedding was planned when a man with a blood alcohol level of 0.12 ran a red light and crashed into a carload of the bride's relatives. The driver and two passengers died due to this man's negligence. Our firm had the privilege of representing one of the deceased parties. After three years of fighting his 5 DUI manslaughter charges the defendant plead guilty. The case resolved for more than $1 million., 2011
  • As a semi truck driver makes an illegal right turn from the left lane, he collides with a car. The woman driving the car subsequently had surgery on both her shoulder and back. After twenty months of work, the insurance company reached a settlement of $450,000., 2012
