Scott Distasio

Founder of Distasio Law Firm, Scott P. Distasio represents clients in the following cities in Florida: Wesley Chapel, Largo, Tampa, and Brandon. His legal practice is focused on personal injury matters, including dog bites, car accidents, and medical malpractice. With over three decades of experience, his work is founded on the belief that all clients deserve outstanding service from an attorney who is board-certified in civil trial law by The Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization.

Mr. Distasio is admitted to practice in the state of Pennsylvania and the state of Florida. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida, the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.

At the University of Florida in 1986, Mr. Distasio graduated with a Bachelor of Science in business administration. He then attended law school at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor and served as vice-chancellor of the Student Honor Court.

Within the legal community, Mr. Distasio plays an active part in teaching and learning. He is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Florida Justice Association, and the American Bar Association. For his successful work over the last few decades, he has also earned his way into the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
