Townsend Belt

Townsend Joseph Belt is an attorney at Anthony & Partners, LLC, located in Tampa, Florida. He provides legal services in real estate, business litigation, construction litigation and corporate law, serving clients throughout Florida. 

Mr. Belt diligently protects and advances his clients' interests through litigation and dispute resolution. He has successfully represented property and business owners through various legal proceedings, including trial, post-judgment and appeals, attributing his success to effective litigation and negotiation strategies that align with his clients’ goals.

Mr. Belt's practice predominantly involves advising clients and litigating real estate matters, such as landlord-tenant relationships, construction liens, mortgages, easements, title disputes and community association issues. Additionally, he provides counsel on business-related matters, including forming and dissolving business entities, negotiating contracts, and handling business disputes related to the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), deceptive trade practices, breach of contract, account collection, noncompete agreements, breaches of fiduciary duty, fraud, conversion and creditors’ rights. 

Mr. Belt graduated from the University of South Florida College of Business and earned his law degree magna cum laude from St. Thomas University in Miami. Furthering his education, he obtained an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University. He is actively involved in the legal community and Italian American organizations, holding memberships in various bar associations and serving on the boards of The Italian Club of Tampa and the National Italian American Foundation. He was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2009 and is authorized to practice in all Florida trial and appellate courts, as well as several federal courts.
