Adam Chrzan is the principal of Adam Chrzan, Attorney at Law, practicing from his downtown Vero Beach office with primary concentrations in criminal defense, personal injury and family law. In private practice, he has represented hundreds of clients in matters ranging from first-degree violent felonies and drug trafficking to DUI, battery and shoplifting. His practice is defined by an assertive defense of constitutional rights and by near-constant accessibility to clients.
A native of New York who has resided in Florida since 1970, Mr. Chrzan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from the University of Central Florida in 1986 and his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law in 2003. He has been licensed to practice in Florida since 2003 and is admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Mr. Chrzan commenced his legal career as an assistant state attorney in Indian River County, serving six years as a prosecutor along Florida’s Treasure Coast. During that tenure, he tried more than one hundred cases to juries and conducted hundreds of probation violation and nonjury hearings. Those prosecutorial responsibilities afforded him an intimate understanding of investigative and prosecutorial strategies – knowledge he now leverages to scrutinize evidence, anticipate opposing counsel’s approach and secure favorable outcomes for criminal defense clients.
Before entering the law, Mr. Chrzan spent over a decade as a staff writer for the Press-Journal in Vero Beach, and for newspapers in St. Lucie and Palm Beach counties. He is a member of The Florida Bar, the Indian River County Bar Association and the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and serves as president of the Indian River County Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He remains dedicated to zealous advocacy and to maintaining clear, timely communication with every client consistently.
