Thomas Tierney

Renowned within his legal community for his shrewd legal acumen and talents, Thomas Tierney strives to help his clients in their tumultuous legal matters with grace and poise. A member and chair of the litigation department of Rossway Swan in Vero Beach, Florida, he handles numerous legal issues, including commercial and business litigation, estate and trust litigation, employment and labor law and litigation, construction law and litigation, and debt collection and judgment enforcement, among many others.

Mr. Tierney completed his undergraduate studies in 1987, graduating with his Bachelor of Arts degree (with high honors) from the University of Notre Dame. He went on to attend UC Law San Francisco and received his Juris Doctor (cum laude) in 1992. He became a member of the State Bar of California in 1992.  Not one to rest on his laurels, he later earned his diploma in taxation from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2000, as well as his license to practice law in Florida the same year.

A stalwart advocate for his clients, Mr. Tierney understands the many intricacies of the legal practice areas he is involved in, and his 30-plus years of experience comes to the fore for his clients. Outside his law practice, Mr. Tierney is a member of The Florida Bar, The State Bar of California, the Indian River County Bar Association and the Brevard County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Central Districts of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.
