Cyrus S. Niakan

Cyrus Niakan is a founding partner at Personal Injury of Florida, ranked a Tier 1 “Best Law Firm” by U.S. News – Best Lawyers. Mr. Niakan focuses his practice on civil litigation and catastrophic injury cases. A Florida Bar Board-Certified specialist in civil trial law, he represents individuals and families whose lives have been disrupted by negligence, misconduct and preventable harm.

Mr. Niakan handles a wide range of matters, including personal injury, auto accidents, medical malpractice, slip-and-fall incidents, wrongful death and tractor-trailer crashes. His practice also includes negligent security, pedestrian and motorcycle accidents, traumatic brain injuries, nursing home abuse, texting-while-driving collisions, Uber and Lyft crashes, pool drownings, and dog bite claims. 

Mr. Niakan graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington in 2001. He then went on to attend The University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law on an academic scholarship.

Board certification in civil trial law reflects Mr. Niakan’s substantial courtroom experience, professionalism and commitment to excellence. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Actively involved in the legal community, Mr. Niakan serves as a volunteer attorney with the Legal Aid Foundation of Palm Beach County. He is an Eagle Sponsor of the Florida Justice Association, a member of the Judicial Relations Committee of the Palm Beach County Bar Association and a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America.
