A 1976 graduate of the University of Florida, Mr. Cameron played linebacker for the Florida Gators from 1971 to 1974, and he was first team All SEC and third team All American in 1974. He then went to the Cincinnati Bengals as the 14th pick in the 1975 NFL draft, and he played in Super Bowl XVI in 1982 for the AFC Championship Bengals team. He retired after playing 11 years, during which he was responsible for five interceptions and three fumbles recovered in 159 total games.

Following his time in the NFL, Mr. Cameron decided to pursue his legal career, and he returned to his alma mater and obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida's Levin College of Law in 1987. The Florida Bar admitted him to practice that same year, and he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.

Active in his legal community, Mr. Cameron is a member of The Florida Bar, the Palm Beach County Bar Association, the Florida Justice Association and the Palm Beach County Trial Lawyers Association, among his other professional affiliations.
